Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been leaked, and Activision has issued a removal warning
Activision issues warning letters to hosts and leakers to crack down on Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 use and leaks
Activision recently issued a warning letter to players using the PS Now Cloud gaming platform, accusing them of playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 in an unauthorized manner. According to PS Now, Activision sold the rights to use Black Ops 6 for 6 euros per month and demanded compensation for 250,000 euros in losses. Hundreds of people have played the game through PS Now.
After receiving the warning letter, PS Now has withdrawn support for Black Ops 6.
In addition to the host platform, Activision also issued a similar warning to leakers who leaked information about Call of Duty. Twitter user @HeyImAlaix, who has been leaking Call of Duty news for years, is also said to have received a warning letter. This is not the first time he has received a warning.
The warning letters are unlikely to stop the leaks but are likely to slow them down for some time. In addition to the warnings, Activision has issued a copyright takedown (DMCA) warning for all Black Ops 6-related content.
It is worth noting that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be playtested at the CODNext event at the end of August and will be officially released later.
